LAB

And then....Lab has started since week2 of school....so fast right?! and so i'm back to doing lab reports each week. ZZzzz
i quite like doing lab(: but i don't like to do up lab reports....it's boring....seriously....but that takes up 40% of the module grade so well....

Anyway, i bought this pair of new covered shoes that i can wear for my lab! It looks nice right :D haha

UP!

I've never been a fan of watching 'animated movies' cause i feel that its not worth the price of a movie ticket into the cinema, but......................UP is a super NICE movie that i love soo much that i don't mind watching it over and over again =] Russell looks super cute in the movie and Carl, the old man has some really cute faces too! Aha, shaun looks soo much like carl that i can't stop laughing when i was watching the movie.

UP, WITH EUNICE

TEEHEE, there we went watching UP at vivo on last wed! Its a 3D movie but haha there wasn't much 3D effect. And the specs is too big for us it kept drooping down! ....After movie its just shopping around and hunting for new place to have dinner.

haha We want a name for them so eunice named her's toot toot, and mine, fat fat! I named mine fat fat because one of them has a way huger tummy than the other and looks really fat when put together. Call us childish or what, but we had fun playing with these 2 tiny bears(: Had our first dinner at Ion's Itacho sushi, where we ordered quite a lot of side dishes (and spent quite a bomb in that restaurant), but wasn't filling at all. So we went down for icecream!!

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO WEIWEI

Its was weiwei's birthday part last saturday and the Theme of her party is MILESTONE!- so we're to bring something that reminds her (and us) of the happy times that we shared. We got her this huge cookie (or rather cake) from famous amos hahaha! I've been wanting to get this for her this on her birthday since i saw it at famous amos about 1yr ago! hahaha she'll always be the 大餅 that we'll never forget; the 大餅 that we love(:

ps: we gave weiwei the nickname 大餅 because she has a really really round face.

CLOTHES ARE SHOES that are never enough

my shelves and shoe racks are finally nailed up onto the walls and my room looks almost done by now(: but i'll still need to create more spaces for my other shoes....this can only hold 15pairs, urghh. Hmmm..and while i was rearranging my clothes in my wardrobe, i realised i've bought quite a few new ones over this long holidays! I want a walk-in dressing room when i have my own house in future. My room is exploding soon.

Rag Day is like a yearly festival 'celebrated' exclusively at NUS only; where all faculties and halls will choose a theme to work on throughout the entire year just for this day. From designing the floats, finding and collecting recyclable materials to make it, to designing their own costumes for the rag dancers; to choose the songs to put together for the performance, to design the dance steps, recruiting new rag dancers and to pull their people in to help out in making the float....everything just for this day. This year, i went down to watch rag as i want to see personally the performances that everyone had put so much time and effort on. For the past 2years, i was squeezed among the crowd cheering for science fac....so i didn't really get to see the performances clearly. This time i managed to get a good view of it! And for the first time i can feel all the NUS people coming altogether to cheer for their faculty, their hall and of cos, for some really outstanding dances put up by sde, medicine, eusoff hall, ke hall and kr hall! Its really really amazing how they are able to design such nice floats and that they can make them move too! And those dances are like some well-trained cheerleading groups! I wanna watch them again when people have them uploaded onto youtube(:

JC GATHERING

Got to meet up with my JC friends finally after planning for so long! Maybe because we're all girls (except yongbing), that we find it really hard to decide on a date to come out altogether. Girls.... But well we're still out in the end(: We wanted to do something more than just dinner but singapore is too boring for anything esle. So the day was spent shopping together, having dinner at shokudo, and sitting down for some catch up. Its hilarious that by now when we take group photos together, we have a feeling that yongbing looks more like our PE teacher than our classmate. He really looks like one right?!! And our "formation" never changes. As in, just look carefully at our photos and when we have dinners together, that yongbing siying and i will always be seating together. It has been like this since JC times and none of the those were being purposeful! :B hmm....i really like meeting up with them cause we'll always enjoy lots of laughters from the things joan and siying says, and yongbing rolling his eyes, and us observing yixuan's typical actions when she talks and to get to see pretty xiaoyin and cleo(: So we should meet up more often ok? ((: stupid siping stood us up but its ok, we can still meet her some other times!
And, I wanna eat SHOKUDO some time soon again! Love the huge variety they have there that i can't really make up my mind on what to eat. How i wish i can just scan my card without worries in exchange for ALL the food over there: omelette, udon, unagi rice with cheese, rosti and many many that i don't know the names and lastly, desserts and icecream on crepe/thick toast! I want to try all the unique icecream flavours they have; rum and raisin is nice with a tinge of alcohol taste in it!

So these was taken from our 3 snorkeling trips! It was really really fun, though not the best that i've experienced before. But, i feel happy enough to be able to snorkel with my friends for the first time! And to play around in the water, to bump into each others head while swimming in random directions and to take photos in water together! I really really like those few shots that i took for yizhen while she's playing with the fishes around her. Didn't really take any for siping and wenting cause they're always swimming off to the other side away from yizhen and me.
I'm missing those fishes already but well, school is starting soon. But we've already said to go perhentian island together next year! I went there before with my dad, quite long ago....but i can still remember very clearly that the snorkeling trip there is the best!! so LETS GO when our long holidays come :D

I'm back with a long post! And yup, i had an enjoyable trip over at REDANG island! I felt so relaxed to be able to spend my time just listening to the sound of waves, playing on the white sandy beach and SNORKELING in the clear blue sea (plus lots of eatings over there of course). There, we got to see some really tall corals, and though most corals are dead, we can still spot some livings and moving ones. The fishies are really really cute and i'm so happy to be able to swim among them. They're so well trained now that to them, tourists mean food. So they'll come swimming towards you and eat your hair thinking its seaweed, or come banging into my olympus camera thinking that its bread. So cute right?! haha I'll post my underwater photos up here soon once i've sorted them out.

We stayed at redang holidays resort, which takes the form of a wooden chalet; so, i spent most of my time walking barefooted everywhere! I like walking barefooted and being able to feel the nature beneath my feet. It just feels good(:
We had little free time in between those snorkeling trips....where we'll rush to the buffet side to eat our fill, and then get down to the beach! So, instead of lying down under the sunny sun to suntann, i took a walk down the long stretch of the beach to take a look at what's on the other side. And, haha its just another long stretch round the turn after i've walked like 1 hour down. But at least i saw that there are many other resorts alongside offering different kinds of watersports like kayaking, diving....and some really cool restaurants and pubs. If i do get a chance to go back there again, i don't mind spending some money there for a cool experience. And, they rent really good underwater cameras for RM60 per day. Gonna need it to take some quality shots. We didn't rent it probably because i had my olympus that can take pictures underwater too. But of course it wouldn't have been as good as the underwater cams they rent.

Anyway, my trip with the 3girls was fun!!! Our first snorkeling trip started out with a hilarious incident where yizhen dropped my camera within the 5minutes that we just jumped down into the sea. It was when we were just done with wearing our snorkeling mask properly that the first thing we saw is my sinking camera beneath us. Haha that was like OMG its sooo deep how are we going to get it?! So i went to 'beg' some guys for help where he can dive down to get it back for us. Of course he can dive since he's a reef cleaner. But he got a sea cucumber back up too and started throwing it at us and scaring the freak out of us!! That was a black slimy thing with yellow green polka dots on it and it looks sooo freaking gross. But we got our camera back still (:
And we screamed a lot. Ok, back to snorkeling....we saw NEMOS!! But its smaller than i thought it was after watching the movie: finding nemos. They're really really cute and i felt like touching them but its too deep for that. We attempted to take protrait photos in the water too but we all ended up laughing and burping out bubbles instead of biting the snorkling stick properly. :B So other than taking photos and snorkeling, we're probably just irritating each other throughout the trip. Things like yizhen and i kept laughing at siping about her cute round toes; and the ferry 'calling out' to her: PING PING, when it gives out some signals....hahaha. And us laughing at siping when she got all so drenched in the salty seawater on our way back and its all written on her face that she'd just bathed and wants to be clean all the way before she reaches home....but now her hair has sooo much salt in it and we had to wait for 20 more hours before we can get home. LOL! And her spoiling 3 toilet flushes that we can't use the toilet after her. And us asking her to go claim another bandito at kfc with our number23 tag (as punishment for her choking the only clean toilet at kfc that we found, and that the dumb malay girl gave me a number 23 tag though she'd already given me my full bandito meal) where siping managed to con a bandito from kfc :D there's many many more and and and incidents but i can't recall them at the moment.

All in all, i simply love the clear blue water there, the fine sandy beach, the cute colorful fishies, the malay style buffets, the wooden chalet, those nice cute friendly chatty people at the resort, and us girls! 4 girls on a trip- The only bad thing is that all 4 of us jumped and hid on our beds when we spotted a cockroach crawling around in our room! AH!
My only regret was that i didn't have enough time to explore the place. Ohh and that the sun didn't come out on the day we waited for sunrise since waking up at 430am. Its the thick blanket of clouds that covered it from view. But its ok....i'll find another chance to catch my sunrise over at Singapore. Though the sun is with us 365.25 days a year, i've never really taken my time to watch it rise beautifully in the morning.
hmmm, some unhappy things did happen during the trip too but i'll just forget about them and remember only the good memories. Thanks yizhen for planning the trip that everything went so well and thanks siping and wenting for going on this trip together!!! Let's go for more together next time k ?!

ps: i bought some seashells over there! :DD and a rainbow kite!
