SWOP PARTY

see the 2 bags of luggage on the 4th photo? thats mine and people kept staring at me while i dragged them up the rooftop- as if i've brought 50 over clothes for the swop party that i'm a greedy girl but i'm not! that's my luggage for redang please do not get mistaken and my dear friends, please stop laughing at me.

Yup we went to the swop party on the evening before setting out to redang by our overnight coach. I brought 28clothes for the swop NOT because i'm kiasu or anything but that they're just items that i either don't like anymore, too small to wear or won't wear it ever again....so i might as well just give it away(: By the time siping and i queued our way in to the rooftop, it was already damn chaotic (like those scenes at mango or zara sales) and i only managed to get for myself this polka dot sleeveless top, a checkered high waist skirt, a seashell necklace and the green beaded chocker. Only 4 small items in exchange for 28 grrrr. But anyway, i like the seashell necklace sooo much!! its so nice and i wore it straight away after getting it. Among us, yizhen swopped for the most no. of items that she likes cause she really digged her way into those wagons of clothesss. I was quite happy that the clothes that i contributed actually got 'snatched away by the other girls'. Hmm if there's another such event again, i'll just go earlier so at least i can catch sight of items from diva, topshop, dorothy perkins or adidas!

Its like 'finally' that siping is back from US!! Though she's only been away for around 2 months, it seems as if my holidays have been duller w/o her! So anyway, the 4 of us went out for dinner and HarryPotter last week?! And siping got me chocolates and STAR earrings and the digi cam that i asked her to get for me. I love the raspberry chocolate, caramel chocolate and dark chocolate and, ok i love all of them. haha By now those chocolates are already floating in my tummy; and the earrings, are seating in the box where i keep my accessories.



Got a yellow cam as the pink one was out of stock. And this was what accompanied us to snorkeling trips at redang. I'll upload the pics soon now that blogspot has got back to normal! Zzzzz.
And i actually rushed to haji lane to get a cover for my camera one day before the trip. Spent quite a long time choosing it but its nice right (:

BEACH VOLLEY

spent the whole of last saturday playing beach volley at sentosa. i'm surprised by the many people who plays beach volley nowadays; it was really crowded by 1pm and we had to wait quite long for next team. but for the fun its worth waiting (:

We found the place coincidentally while walking aimlessly around the shopping mall and were glad to see this place!
The wallpaper looks really really nice and cute with all those rainbows, lollipops and candyhouse so we took pictures with them!! How i wish the walls of my room can look like this. haha lol. (scourced some pictures of us from weiwei's facebook photo album)

Playing With The Kids

back to selling educational toys..but was at primary schools rather than at retail sites.
Those primary sch kids are super cute and small! (many are ard my hip level only haha) and ya, only those who didn't call me -a u n t i e- are cuter.
The P1/P2 ones don't usually have much money on them so i'll just try to make them buy these cute finger puppets at $1/$2 each. For those P4 and above, we'll just con them into buying the more expensive microscope, telescope and science experiment kits.
This can be considered as one of the few part time jobs that really enjoy doing and didn't really have much complains about it. Moreover, its fun and i like to watch kids; including seeing their innocent smiles when they got something they like from me! But the swine flu had just 'sacked' me off this job since most of the schools cancelled letting us set up booth on the decided dates :(

IN OUR TINY KAMPONG HUT CHALET

10 of us stuck in the kampung hut chalet to play uno-stacko. Because of the rain.......we couldn't go out to the beach :/ and the room was really really small tiny or microscopic (but cosy (: )that we don't even have enough space to take photos so most of our pictures are 'closed up ones'. And I Felt Like A Giant Inside It.
....When the weather looks better after that, we went out to play some ball games and frisbee; frisbee was fun! Outings with SoonAe ppl had always been fun.

ZHIWEI'S MUAY THAI COMPETITION

Went down to SP to support zhiwei's amateur muay thai competition on last last saturday. He won his first match; but didn't have enough luck for the second match. But still, he's the strongest fighter in our OG (:
The matches there are damn fierce and violent.... especially the guys' match. But thats whats worth the watch since i've never really watched mauy thai before. And theres this girl who is super strong that she won her 2 matches with her opponents giving up within the 1st round. Her punches and kicks are really really strong! Seriously, we were saying: what's going on her mind when she was up there fighting?!

I've found a new short-term job again! can't seem to stay jobless for too long esle i'll feel useless. Plus i need to earn lots of lots of money for many many things; to feed my camera, to shop, and to go for trips! i'll be working as a road show promoter for 4 days. Its a no-brainer job but still, the pay is good enough since there's extra commission add on to hourly pay. I felt so lucky to have found this job online yesterday, at around 11pm....where i sent in my resume and asked the person to call me up in the morning if he still needs ppl for that event. And yea he rang me up at about 9am for work!
At least now i know that i don't have to dig into my bank account for my trip to Redang with yizhen they all!!
Mummy hasn't really agreed to let me go for the trip yet BUT she says she might consider that if i don't ask her for any allowance for the whole of next year when i start my year3. Damn evil....
